In 1994 he was a lecturer at the Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt, where he presented the HN System, defined by Heinz-Klaus Metzger and Rainer Riehn as “the most surprising artistic invention of the last 15 years”.

His works combine composition, performance art, sound sculpture and have been presented in international festivals and institutions such as the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Milano Musica Festival, the Teatro Stabile di Torino, the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Curva Minore in Palermo, the Festival Fabbrica Europa in Florence, the Beijing Comedy Theater in Beijing, the Oriental Arts Center in Shanghai.

He founded and conducts the HN Ensemble, specialised in the performance of works composed with the HN System.

He created the HN Percussion®, a family of musical instruments that involve the performer's entire body in sound creation, which have attracted the interest of percussionists such as Guido Facchin, Evelyn Glennie, Christian Hamouy (Les Percussions de Strasbourg).

His work is the subject of musicological publications, graduation theses and documentary films.
